Spring 4-Day
Silent Meditation Retreat - Washington

March 11-14, 2027 — Union, WA

Experience the peace of the heart.

The Hridaya Silent Meditation Retreat is an invitation to discover the joy of being quiet. To remove yourself from everyday distractions, peel away layers of the ego, and find the peace within.

If you are yearning to go beyond your everyday reality, to quiet your mind and connect to the deepest part of yourself, join us for this Silent Meditation Retreat. We designed this retreat to guide you to an intimate understanding of what meditation is so you can experience the inner personal transformation it kindles.

It’s a chance for you to give yourself a profound gift: Silence. In that silence, you can begin to perceive the peaceful and eternal core of your being, the source of all inspiration, love, and beauty—the Spiritual Heart.

The simple act of asking “Who am I?” can take you on a profound journey of wonderment and self-discovery. In this silent retreat, you’ll learn techniques for calming your mind and opening your heart so that you’ll be able to ask this question in full presence and really listen to the answers that arise.

Our experienced facilitators share wisdom and inspiration from a variety of spiritual traditions and will serve as your spiritual mentors and support. They also hold an explicit awareness about historical and current ways these teachings have been inaccessible to many people and offer diverse access points to support participants’ abilities to understand and receive the teachings. Meditation and other techniques are taught step-by-step with the opportunity to deepen your practice throughout the retreat.

But a silent meditation retreat isn’t about a technique or bit of knowledge. It isn’t about finding something that’s missing. It’s a process of opening to the part of you that is beyond all limitations. When you connect with that inner realm, it will infuse your entire life with its Love.

Free from distractions and immersed in these teachings, you’ll begin to discover the Truth within yourself. You’ll feel a greater sense of love, wholeness, and open-heartedness. And, you’ll emerge renewed, your life enriched with meaning thanks to new spiritual perspectives.

Whether you have never meditated or have done many retreats, we invite you to join us on this journey and get a taste of the power of Self-Inquiry.

Our Spring Silent Retreat will be held at The Sacred Waters Retreat Center in Union, Washington (formerly Harmony Hill)

Our intimate weekend on the Hood Canal will include up to 25 guests with options for single or shared rooms. The Sacred Waters Center for Restoration and Retreat is an inclusive community rooted in rest and renewal, where every being is affirmed, all spiritual paths are honored, and the Earth herself is our healing teacher and guide.

Sacred Waters is an affirming inter-spiritual call to rest and human-ecological renewal. We are at home in our common union, honoring our inherent wholeness, and unfolding together within the practice of tenderness. Guided by the great love which holds us all, the soft pulse of tree roots, and the quiet tides that move through stillness and wild spaces, we offer inclusive welcome and a warm bowl of soup, remembering that when what is hard meets what is holy, healing flows outward into the world.

“Silence is the root of everything.”

Are you looking for more?

Maybe you’ve been doing yoga and meditation for years. Maybe you’re still not sure what they are. But something inside you is saying: “It’s time!” It’s time to make a change. Time to stop living in ways that don’t fulfill you. Time to ask the big questions and figure out who you really are.

Hridaya Northwest has always kept the cost of retreats incredibly low, around 1/3 to 1/2 of other comparable retreat prices. We directly match the cost of the retreat to the cost of the expenses. The facilitators prioritize spiritual teachings in their lives, not corporate salaries, and any income for the facilitators directly supports their families and their ability to provide these retreats.

  • “The container of this silent retreat – the pace, slow movements, pause to interiorize and notice responses – allowed me to slowly drop in and return again when I could establish connection with myself. The teachings offered new insights into the relationship between me/I and the Greater Something, Oneness. The attitude of acceptance allowed me to reframe and even just notice my thoughts, rather than be critical or evaluate them. And the Silence was astoundingly valuable. I got to be with my full experience."

    — Lori

  • “I feel I have found my spiritual calling through this tradition.”

    — Tammy

  • This retreat helped me to reframe trauma. My brain just “re-wrote” a few deeply painful memories, just as you described it could. It felt so liberating and joyful to let go of that pain. So grateful for this beautiful experience, a weekend of loving self-care and having your radiant spirit as my mentor and guide.

    — Allyson

  • The most valuable practices for me were the long meditations. I’ve been meditating for a few years and the Objectifying the Stillness technique made me realize I’ve never truly meditated at all. The HeartMath practices are also something I think will help me a lot in real life. Thank you so much. This retreat surpassed my expectations and I’m going home with a heart full.

    — Gabi

  • "This retreat reframed my need for others to experience a deep connection and supported me in forming a more secure attachment with myself. I’m so grateful you hold this space."

    — Jodi

  • “Thank you for this wild ride and new chapter of expansion in my life. My heart tells me that the real, true meanings of these teachings and techniques will come over time.”

    — Sue

  • "This retreat brought a deep reframe of self-compassion. One means of this is trying not to judge thoughts that come into our mind during meditation."

    —Devon

  • "Thank you for leading me through these days. Familiar concepts were more deeply understood by your teachings. Yogic, but also life principles. Every moment of your emotion was so beautiful. Every story, important. I hope to see you again in retreat."
